The journey began when he took over a struggling restaurant in Cyberjaya โ one whose owner owed him money from his days as a vegetable supplier โ and turned it into something extraordinary.
What was once a failing business became Malaysia's go-to destination for authentic South & North Indian cuisine. With unwavering passion, Saravanan grew India Gate from a single outlet into a thriving restaurant group with 14 locations across the Klang Valley, Seremban, and beyond.
Today, India Gate is proudly JAKIM Halal certified, completely pork-free, and alcohol-free โ welcoming guests of all backgrounds to experience the rich, aromatic flavours of India, reimagined for Malaysia.
